The M10 A1 was based off of a modified Sherman M4 chasis and was armed with the 3inch 7.62mm M7 gun in a rotating open topped turret. The M10 was the most numerous US made tank destroyer to see action during WW2. The M10 also saw usage by many allied forces as well.
